There are two times a year when I start craving some fresh, sparkly jewelry. One is around the holidays, when Tiffany gets me all emotional with the gently falling snow, yummy wool coats and, of course, little blue boxes. The other is with the first whispers of Spring, when the crocuses stick their tentative heads out on sunny days and my mind turns to long afternoons by a hypothetical lake, lounging in crinkled button down shirts on a hypothetical sun-warmed dock, and then dancing the night away. The inside of my head in spring looks a lot like this:
