Happy Friday, friends. Here we are in September all of a sudden, just a few days out from Rosh Hashana. It’s a time of year that sweeps you up in a tide of activity, until you find yourself living one day (or one hour) at a time just when you should be slowing down for introspection and reflection.
I wanted to tiptoe in for a moment to share a few things I’ve been loving this month, with best wishes for a little stillness and much joy this season.
Reading Lord Rabbi Sacks on loving the stranger, and moments that define a nation
Adoring these Fall arrangements from Bloomsbury Park Flowers
Celebrating the return of real shoes and dark manicures
Listening to First Aid Kit belting out Paul Simon’s America
Browsing yummy jackets and sweaters at the surprisingly chic Talbots
Coveting the best hair cut I’ve seen in a long time, on Rachelle Yadegar
Recommending the perfect hostess gift from Savannah Bee Company
Digging into Project Life and loving it more than ever. Inspired by Jennifer Lake
Shana Tova to every one of you. May this be a year of “bold acts of generosity”, deep prayer, and increased love within our families and between us all.
